This precious Sunflower is my friend Judi's granddaughter Valerie. I received the photo a few years back but I saved it because I knew I had to paint it someday.

Plucked from the " tree of life"

I always liked still life portraits of fruit. Apples are especially my favorite. Until you paint an apple, you don't realize how much color Mother Nature puts into the beautiful fruit. I had alot of fun doing this painting and had to eat one of my subjects when finished.

GOTHIC WEDDING

Not wanting the traditional wedding, Erik suggested
having a Halloween Wedding. Their guests arrived
in various costumes.
