This is my first abstract of a picture
my Nephew found on line for me to
paint. He wanted this painting for
his music room. It's something that
I wouldn't paint normally, but once
I took the brush in my hand, I really
had a lot of fun with it. Someday I
would like to arrange my own
musical instruments creating a
different look......painting with oil..
of course..

Hi SANDRA..when someone requests a painting and is pleased with it, it just makes you feel so wonderful. Thank you for that comment.
ReplyDeleteHi SUE...he really likes it! ..the painting is still tacky, so hopefully by next week it will be dry enough for him to take home. I enjoyed painting on a large canvas and I'm thinking about doing one again soon. Thank you for commenting..I appreciate it.!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great painting to hang in a music room!!! I think musical instruments make great subjects!! Very nice job!
ReplyDeleteI said the same thing as I was painting...it really was a great subject..I guess that's why I enjoyed it..something different. Thank you so much for your nice comment. I appreciate it, JOAN!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Hilda!... What a lovely keepsake for your musician nephew!
ReplyDeleteThere are many instruments which make up an orchestra... just as there are many very separate and different voices which make up a choir!
You have dramatically shown here the power of the collective... rather than the simple one voice... in pictorial form! A wonderful... and not so very abstract image as you'd suggest perhaps!
Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
