Shadia
We all have our favorite models.. Shadia is a very sweet girl as well as beautiful and such a pleasure to paint. On Fridays I go to a live model class to "practice"... however, I cheated and I took Shadia's photo and painted her at home! I'm not ready to show anyone my paintings yet from class..lol. but I will never give up since I enjoy the class so much.

Oh, my goodness, Hilda! What an exquisite, beautiful young woman. She just glows, and the way you put those sparkles in her eyes make her more of a standout. The manner in which you paint skin is amazing - smooth and flawless. She'll be so happy when she sees your work. I just can't say enough about how incredibly beautiful your painting of Shadia is!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Carol! She is definitely a beautiful young woman who loves to model...
DeleteAn Artists dream. I wish I can say I painted her from life but I took a photo of her...SO much easier for me since I hate missing those little details! Lol. I'm so glad you like her!!
Ok Miss Master, got to,ask what colors are in this skin tone. She is radiant with an absolutely lovely neck line - so go,figure I am into necks these days!! Love this portrait
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Nelvia! It's so hard to say what colors I use since no two people have the same skin tones...however I always start with burnt sienna (411.8) and start adding colors...even blues or greens...layers and layers of color... I appreciate your comment!
