My Granddaughter Lexi was only about
two months old when I took the reference
picture for this pastel painting. I can't
believe 4 years have passed by already!
Last week, I went to an Antique shop
and saw a picture of a baby girl and it
inspired me to do this painting. I can
still smell the baby powder!!

ReplyDeleteMy Grand-daughter was born on Halloween 2010 (much to her Mum's horror - she was trying so hard to avoid that date)! She has just started walking and its amazing how quickly they grow from baby to toddler to little girl isn't it?
