ReplyDeleteBoth this painting and the one of your husband as a child are just beautiful, Hilda. The skin looks so soft like a young child's. You have a real way with pastels.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about few pictures of later children. I was the first of seven and well documented. I was followed by six brothers. By the time my parents had the last few boys, they had little time for photography.

La mise à contribution de votre talent pour la création du portrait de mon cher petit Nathan est une immense réussite. Vous êtes allée au-delà d’un challenge artistique, car vous avez su capturer la sensibilité, la douceur, l’innocence en conservant la limpidité de son regard et la fraîcheur de son jeune âge. Sincèrement, je vous félicite.
Le respect du détail et des nuances de couleurs sont omniprésents.
