Sunny side of the street

This is a painting I did for my friend.  I don't paint too many houses but it's always a challenge to do...its like building a house.. every detail counts..lol.  I have to admit, I enjoyed painting it.  Yesterday I finished my painting of  the peaches.  I didn't like the way it turned out so no more still life paintings for awhile.!!

  1. I don't think I've ever seen you paint a house. You did a nice job on this. Love the variety in the shading of the windows. It looks so much like the local houses near you.

  5. Dear Hilda - your house is super...so real that I can almost feel like I am standing directly in front of it. It is nice to change or use a variety of subjects to paint. I seem to be stuck on flowers and leaves way too much...may drag out my pastels and do a landscape soon. Hugs!
