Friday Model

I did this portrait at my Friday Long Island Portrait group.  This model was a joy to paint.  Her hair had such beautiful shades of red....a mixture of many browns, burnt sienna and touches of oranges.  I think I had more fun trying to get that perfect mixture of colors.  Her bow and shirt had many colors of purples which went well with her hair!  I hope to see her model for us again in the future...

  15. I commented once!! I think I hit the wrong key sometimes (old-age).

Great angle, perfect skin tones, haunting eyes and I love the soft & lost edges at the back of the sitter.

You must be happy with this, Hilda - You can't get better portraits than this. (I'll try to pick 'Publish' and not 'Sign out' this time)

Bravo !

    Gros bisous
