A Rae of Sunshine

The reference photo was of my Nieces granddaughter Rae.  I fell in love with the photo when I saw it on Facebook because she looked like an old fashioned little girl from the 30's.  I knew I had to paint her and I'm happy that "Grandma" loved the portrait.
This is 11 x 14 pastel

Absolument merveilleux !

    Gros bisous

  12. What a beautiful young lady! She does look like the poses of young children in that time period. Her eyes look full of wonder and her body language says a lot as well. You are a master of skin tones and of smoothness of the skin. What a treasure for"Grandma."
