The American Eagle
When I saw this reference photo in the computer, I really wanted to paint it. Every time I look at it I get the goose bumps.. I have painted the Eagle before but never with the American Flag as the background. I used Unisom reds since its very vibrant as well as the white. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed painting it.

ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the Unisom, but looks like they give great color and coverage. But first I want to get the iridescences and give them a try. Always something for us to spend $$ on - oh well, you can't take it with you, right?
What a nice comment Nelvia.....don't forget I copied this beautiful Eagle from a photo on line so I wouldn't be able to do anything like this. But I enjoyed painting him! They're such beautiful birds! Thank you for stopping by! And we CANT take it with us like you said so let's go shopping! Lol
