Bianca

This is my granddaughter Bianca getting ready for her dance recital.  A sweet little dancer who is willing to pose for me anytime.... I took many photos of her but it was something about this pose that I fell in love with.

Every day I'm feeling a little better... I still go to Physical Therapy every day.  What a great feeling waking up with less pain!!  Life is so good!!!   Thank you all for your previous comments...you are ALL so special and always make my day.

  4. What gorgeous brown eyes Bianca has, Hilda.
I love the little fringe of hair at her hairline. My daughter had that when she was young too and sometimes I would wet it to make it lie like you have painted it.
Happy to hear the therapy is still progressing nicely and you are not in that awful pain any more. Life is grand again!

  22. She is lovely, Hilda. Gee, I remember you letting me do a watercolor of Bianca several years ago from a photo of her you posted. She had on a floppy hat that sparkled. I was practicing portraits and when I was painting hers I messed up on her beautiful eyes so I painted some sunglasses for her to fix it. LOL What a blast from the past.

  33. Hello Hilda!:) Thank you for making me smile about your sisters pig.:) Pigs are smart creatures, they learn quickly, are clean amimals, and make excellent pets. I'm not sure about the dressing up part, although it must look cute. I collect pigs of the porcelain kind, and we also have them on the farm.

Your portrait is a lovely study of your granddaughter. She has such a sweet expression, and beautiful eyes.
    Have a lovely weekend Hilda.:)
