Forever Friends

This is a commission that I did for a friend.  Maggie, the golden retriever and Pippin, the Chihuahua mix lived only blocks away from each other...they would play with each other every day, play wrestling in the backyard until one day Pippin moved away.  Pippin misses Maggie so much.  Her owner has a video where Pippin actually watches her friend in front of the TV...!!!   I have to admit, my dog doesn't do that...lol

  49. Hi there HIlda!... You have so wonderfully captured the essence of friendship... whether two... or four footed!

What would we do without friendship Hilda? The world would be such a sad place without it. Strange... what activities create these bonds.

Stranger still... that just playing together... or sharing "a bone or two" is enough or being in front of a tv ... or at a keyboard and monitor can sustain this bond... forever.

    Isn't life strangely...wonder-filled?

    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

    Gros bisous
