Forever Friends
This is a commission that I did for a friend. Maggie, the golden retriever and Pippin, the Chihuahua mix lived only blocks away from each other...they would play with each other every day, play wrestling in the backyard until one day Pippin moved away. Pippin misses Maggie so much. Her owner has a video where Pippin actually watches her friend in front of the TV...!!! I have to admit, my dog doesn't do that...lol

Davvero belli!

ReplyDeleteThank you MYRA!!!! thanks for stopping by!
DeleteHi there HIlda!... You have so wonderfully captured the essence of friendship... whether two... or four footed!
ReplyDeleteWhat would we do without friendship Hilda? The world would be such a sad place without it. Strange... what activities create these bonds.
Stranger still... that just playing together... or sharing "a bone or two" is enough or being in front of a tv ... or at a keyboard and monitor can sustain this bond... forever.
Isn't life strangely...wonder-filled?
Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
Thank you BRUCE!! You're so right...glad you stopped by to comment on these two friends!!! Enjoy the rest of the day!
Gros bisous
I'm so glad you stopped by to comment, MARTINE and so glad you like this painting.. I look forward to Spring as well and of course your beautiful paintings... hugs...
