Somewhere out East..!

I took the reference picture for this oil painting when I was out East..somewhere on Long Island!!  This is the first  time I have no clue where this was..it's sad because since its so close to the water we'll never know if its still standing after the Hurricane.  I thought it would make a nice painting with the light hitting the weeds against the house and the wood pilings in the water...I enjoyed painting this ..!

  1. Wow, I missed two of your best works. This and Esperanza! So glad to see you up and working. My heart goes out to everyone suffering from Sandy's devastation. You are such a strong source of inspiration.

    1. thank you TRUDY for stopping by and for your kind comment. I'm glad you like Esperanza ..and now its time for the re-building after the storm in my neighborhood. We only have to cut out part of the wall downstairs by the bathroom...the door is so warped and won't close..so just a few minor things we have to take care of.
