ADIOS MI PAPI

After having a stroke, my Dad passed away early Sat. morning. He was an incredible gentleman
and I will miss him terribly. I posted this
watercolor that my Dad painted a few months
ago. He was so proud of it as well as I and I
needed to share this with all my blogger
friends.

    Dearest Hilda, I am so sorry for your loss. My dad took up painting after he retired and I have one of his works hanging in my studio which keeps me close to him. You will treasure this painting of your Dad's. Keep it close in sight. God bless!

    I am very sorry for your dad . Even my dad few years ago has left and I know that there are no words that can console you. I, today, I still feel him close. This watercolor is a precious gift of your dad... I join in prayer with Douglas.

    I'm sorry for your loss, Hilda, my condolences. Your father left a painting filled of life and color so you could remember him with joy. And you also did a beautiful tribute to the portrait you painted recently where you expressed a great affection.

    I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss, Hilda. I can see that your Dad loved art. You are forever connected with your Dad through your love for each other and by your mutual love of art.
    Paint! A lot! Let his love show up in your artwork. Let this be your continuing memorial to this man. He would/will love it. I believe he is watching you.

    Dear Hilda, I am so sorry for you loss. I think it is a beautiful tribute to your father that you posted his lovely painting. The portrait you painted of him not too long ago really touched my heart. You obviously had a wonderful relationship with him, and will have these special memories always.
