Mr. Rooster

I needed a change from painting portraits and this little guy was calling me.  I'm not sure but I believe the photo was taken in West Virginia.  He was standing near another rooster equally as beautiful...I might paint him another time.

  16. Hilda, this is fantastic! I just love the crop you made in the composition design! Part of him is out of the painting, and I love that. It offers a bit of mystery, don't you think? It certainly focuses the attention right on what he's doing. Bravo!!

  30. Hello Hilda! A Rooster in a typical slow walking gate, or scratching on the ground, but not an ordinary Rooster, no, a Rooster painted by you could never be ordinary.:) Good job Hilda, I like him a lot. Well done, I would like to see his friend some time.:))
