In Thought

When I went to Manhattan a few months back, this man was sitting on a bench enjoying the weather.  I always wonder what they're thinking about ...so I just took his photo because he had "that face" that needed to be painted.  Lately I haven't been in the mood to paint but once I put those pastels in my hands...the desire to paint takes over!!... I hope you like it.
Now I'm on the watch for my next subject.

  1. Beautiful work, Hilda! I love how you cropped his image. You re-created his tightly curled hair so well, and he does indeed have an expression that makes one wonder what is on his mind.
There must be something in the artistic air, so to speak. I haven't felt like painting much for months either, but it's coming back.

    Gros bisous ☼
