Audrey

This  is a commission I did of a "young" Audrey Hepburn for a
Beauty Salon in Farmingville, N.Y.   Audrey Hepburn  was one of my all time favorite actresses who I loved so it was easy painting
her.   I remember as a teenager trying my best to look like her..LOL  ....It didn't work!!!

  13. You made me laugh, Hilda. Audrey is and was a beauty. I always wanted to look like Cher. Didn't work for me either. I've been told I look like Erin Moran (Happy Days, Joanie Loves Chachi), McKenzie Phillips (American Graffiti, One Day at a Time), Lily Tomlin (Laugh In)... Of them all, I'd most have to agree with the McKenzie Phillips, but when she was young; not now. Once, on a website that you upload your photo and it pulls famous faces to whom you might share a common ancestry, I kept getting Jared Leto and Julie Christie. Go figure...

Anyway, this is a dazzling piece for a beauty salon! Oh if only they could make me look like this!!

  15. I remember I had two idols when I was a teenager. Marylin Monroe and Dolly Parton, lol!
Facially I was never going to look look Marylin Monroe, though I tried my hardest for a while... and there were two very obvious differences between me and Dolly Parton, haha ;0)
This is such an amazing painting of Audrey Hepburn. The shadows are what give it that drama. Fabulous!! :0)
