ADIOS MI PAPI

After having a stroke, my Dad passed away early Sat. morning. He was an incredible gentleman
and I will miss him terribly. I posted this
watercolor that my Dad painted a few months
ago. He was so proud of it as well as I and I
needed to share this with all my blogger
friends.

I had the pleasure of painting this model
during a portrait workshop with Master
Pastelist Dan Slapo. I've known this young
lady since she was born 12 years ago and
enjoyed portraying her as the beautiful
young woman she has become.

This is another wonderful barn from
Tennessee. I love these old beautiful
buildings which are so full of character.
