Lavender in bloom

In East Marion, N.Y. we have an amazing Lavender Farm.  I took the reference photo of a worker gathering some lavenders to be sold.  Of course, I bought some... I took it home and dried some, hanging them upside down.  The smell is wonderful....pinching them brings out the fragrance even more!!!

    Un petit billet qui sent bon la lavande... En ce moment elle embaume le jardin...
    Une fois sèche mise en sachet de tissu dans les armoires elle éloigne les mites !
    En revanche je ne m'éloigne pas de ta très jolie peinture. J'aime beaucoup toutes les belles nuances de couleurs. La composition est aussi intéressante et met en valeur ce dur labeur que celui de cultiver la fleur de lavande...
    Bravo chère amie.

  21. Great job on the worker harvesting the lavender. I always buy a few of their sachet bags when I go out and everything in my dresser smells so good!

    1. I enjoy going to the Lavender farm. So much color and that beautiful smell.. and yes, I love the little store they have where you can buy sachet bags or spray bottles that you can spray on your pillow...wonderful little gifts. I'm glad you liked the worker .. he's there every year.. lol
