Binta

My favorite day of the week is Friday when I go to my Long Island Portrait Group.  The lighting is always perfect as well as the chosen model.  I must admit this model was a favorite.  I think her name was Binta.... she stood proudly and was a natural beauty.  She needed a little color so I added her earrings and necklace....Hey! we can!!!  lol  I hope you like her.

  1. Another beautiful pastel, Hilda, and a wonderfully accomplished portrait. Portrait groups are such a marvelous resource aren't they, especially for those of us who love to paint faces.

  4. Fabulous work Hilda. She is gorgeous and the light is perfect. I've never worked 'from life' before - mine are all from photos which I think can hide some of the personality which you've captured in your life work.

    1. I have always found it difficult to paint from life but I've been trying my best. I do find it more challenging. I'd rather work from a photo.

Tu l'as merveilleusement bien travaillée.
Tu as capturé admirablement son regard.
    Gros bisous
